Tracy Younger, ALCHEMĒ’s CEO is a devotee of medical wellness and is a devoted skin care fanatic – it was only natural to migrate her dynamic sense of aesthetics and business savvy to found a new approach to vibrant living.
As a senior health care executive, Tracy developed a multi-service wellness center encompassing the first hospital-based laser aesthetic center in California. For ALCHEMĒ, she has used her talent for finding the latest trends before they are mainstream, as well as her uncanny gift for recognizing unique talents, to create our winning team.
DR. ROGER SCHECHTER
FOUNDER
Our Medical Director, Roger Schechter has reinvented himself three times in his career. He started as a Family Practice doctor, but was quickly enticed by the fast paced world of Emergency Medicine. Eventually, he evolved in to a thought leader in Chronic Wound Care.
Most recently, he was recruited by Tracy Younger (Our CEO) to learn the secrets of Aesthetic Medicine, and to co-found ALCHEMĒ. His passion for health made this a natural next step. Dr. Schechter’s restless and inquiring nature won’t allow him to simply accept being ruled by convention. Along with the ALCHEMĒ team, he is developing the dynamic concepts of Rebellious Health.
DR. TARA STEINKE
NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR
Dr. Steinke believes we should aspire to feel strong, healthy and vibrant at any age. To deliver on an intention of lifelong health and wellness for her patients, she focuses on helping each patient address goals and challenges with a whole-person approach. Feeling our best also includes looking our best and health & happiness is beauty. Specializing in wellness optimization, endocrine/hormone imbalances, gut health, IV therapy and aesthetics, she views optimal health as the management of both the internal environment and the external stressors of life in a modern world.
Dr. Steinke completed her medical doctorate at Bastyr University with advanced training in IV therapy, cranial sacral therapy, bioidentical hormones, hydrotherapy, autoimmune treatment and PRP aesthetics. She went on to completed her residency in naturopathic primary care with additional specialization in IV nutrient therapy. Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Steinke received her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University and worked as a corporate engineer. She is listed as the primary inventor on two U.S. patents and has held positions in process development research, process engineering in manufacturing, operations, and program management, including ownership over several multi-million dollar energy-efficiency programs for the major California utility companies.
Her research and technical background allows Dr. Steinke to bring a detail-oriented and foundationally scientific perspective to patient care. She believes in providing an integrative, personalized approach with each patient and loves contributing to team care environment as a naturopathic doctor.
MICHAEL
REGISTERED NURSE
Michael is a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, known for meticulous attention to detail and his artistic eye. He is a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
While working alongside industry leading experts at an aesthetic dermatology practice in Washington, D.C. for nearly five years, Michael gained valuable expertise in injection of neuromodulators and fillers as well as proper use of lasers, and various cosmetic devices.

Lissie is a dedicated registered nurse who earned her degree from the prestigious Louisiana State University in New Orleans. With a strong foundation in healthcare, she initially embarked on her nursing career in the intensive care unit (ICU). However, her unwavering passion for aesthetics and helping people feel their best led her down a transformative path.
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the world of beauty and self-confidence, Lissie decided to pursue her dream of becoming an aesthetic nurse injector. Since making this bold career change, she hasn't looked back.
Lissie's true passion lies in the art of enhancing natural beauty and boosting self-esteem. She takes immense pride in her ability to make clients look and feel their absolute best. Her compassionate and caring nature, honed through years of nursing, shines through in every interaction.

REBECKA
AESTHETIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
Rebecka Cooperman is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of nursing experience, 11 of those as a nurse practitioner and the last 8 years specializing in aesthetics. Rebecka earned her bachelors degree form Wichita State University and her Masters at San Diego State University. After receiving her masters, she earned her board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Rebecka is also a member of the California Board of Nurse Practitioners.
Rebecka prides herself on full facial assessments and rejuvenation emphasizing on what her clients’ specific needs are. She has had clients follow her over the last 8 yrs of aesthetic practice. She also believes patient education and patient advocacy is very important.
Rebecka has lived in San Diego since 2000 when she moved here as a travel nurse. She met her husband at a Chargers game in 2005 and now they are married with 2 energetic boys. She loves being outside in the sun, hiking, or spending time at her boys’ sports games. She also loves to chill at home and watch a good action movie or the newest Netflix series.
Monica
AESTHETIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
Monica Green is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of nursing experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University and then went on to get her Master of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Southern California.
Monica has extensive experience with neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Sculptra, lasers, and facial treatments. She prides herself on enhancing patients' natural beauty. Her goal is to make every patient feel confident and rejuvenated. In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She leads an active lifestyle with hobbies including traveling, yoga, and pilates.

AESTHETIC PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Shanan Valli's career in aesthetics spans over two decades, a journey that began after she rooted herself in San Diego, having moved from Pennsylvania where she completed her Physician Assistant studies at King’s College. Her tenure in the aesthetics field, particularly at a busy MedSpa in La Jolla, stands as a testament to her dedication and skill. Here, Shanan has refined her expertise in injections and lasers, evolving alongside the fast-paced advancements in aesthetic medicine. Her approach is deeply rooted in the belief of providing customized treatment plans, focusing on achieving natural and rejuvenated outcomes for her clients. Shanan's dedication to mastering a variety of techniques underscores her commitment to excellence and innovation in aesthetic care.
Beyond the technical skills, Shanan embodies the philosophy that beauty and health are intertwined with the wellness of mind, body, and spirit.
